This is a great intermediate scope for .223/556 rifles. At 3x its about right for 100-200 yd. I put it on a Sig 556 DMR and it is bright , clear and the red/green reticle is excellent. Also the price is right for good optics.9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. Burris Ar Tac Ar-332

Would you use this sight for close quarters as well? I like that it has has interchangable colors for the reticle. What is the advantage of this over similar red dot sights? How good is the magnification? I've been looking at the Burris red dot sights for a while now, but I want to make sure that I'm getting the right one.
